Who we are
The Southwark Climate Justice Coalition is a network of groups and individuals based in the borough of Southwark, London.
Our Coalition aims to act as a grapevine and amplifier for climate justice action and education in our area.
Our Approach
The Coalition is open to all interested local groups and individuals. A full list of members and their contact details can be found on the 'Our Members' page. Please fill out the form on that page with information about your group if you wish your organisation to join the Coalition and its mailing list.
We are inclusive and pluralist, and are open to campaign groups from all perspectives, not just 'climate'. We hope that by working together we can share ideas, contacts, and information to advocate for climate justice in our borough.
Our Structure
At our first meeting in June 2022, members agreed that the Coalition would have three functions:
1. To meet in-person quarterly, in order to build relationships, hear what members are working on, and offer support or plan joint activities as needed.
2. To host a joint events calendar, which you can add to by filling out the form on the Events page.
3. To host a list of members, to help any interested groups or residents get involved in climate justice action.
